Right to repair

A cracked clip shouldn't send a whole device to landfill.

Most gear isn't "broken" — it's missing one small plastic part that no one sells anymore. Revive turns that dead-end into a five-minute scan and a printed replacement, keeping the things you own out of the trash and in your hands.

How it works

From broken part to printed fix in three steps

01

Scan the broken part

Point your phone's LiDAR at the cracked case, snapped clip or worn gear. Revive captures a millimetre-accurate point cloud in seconds — no rig, no calibration.

02

Auto-reconstruct & repair

We rebuild a clean, watertight mesh, fill the damage, mirror symmetry and match it against known-good components so the geometry is manufacturable — not just a raw scan.

03

Export & print

Download print-ready STL and editable STEP files. Slice on any printer or send to a service, and hold the replacement part in your hands the same day.

Built for what actually prints

Everything you need to reproduce a part correctly

We focus on 3D-printable enclosure & mechanical parts — where LiDAR accuracy is adequate — and do that one thing exceptionally well.

LiDAR-grade accuracy

Tuned for the parts where depth sensing actually excels — enclosures, brackets and housings — with sub-0.1 mm tolerances that snap and screw back together.

Enclosure & mechanical only

Cases, battery doors, clips, latches, gears, knobs and vents. We skip the circuit-repair fantasy and go deep where reproduction is reliable.

Smart component matching

Damaged past recognition? Revive matches your scan to a library of known-good parts and standard fasteners, then adapts the model to fit.

Watertight, print-ready output

Every export is manifold and slicer-safe. No holes, no flipped normals, no hours in mesh-repair tools before you can print.

No approval, no gatekeeping

Fix what you own. No manufacturer sign-off, no proprietary service network — just your device, your scan and your printer.

Editable CAD, yours to keep

STEP files open in Fusion, FreeCAD or Onshape so you can tweak, reinforce or remix. Your designs stay yours, forever.

Where Revive fits

The gap the others leave open

Guides teach. Scanners capture. Model libraries search. Revive is the only one built to take a broken part all the way to a printed replacement.

Makers are already reviving what they own

Illustrative testimonials from our early-access community.

A single missing knob used to kill a restoration. I scanned the surviving one, mirrored it in Revive, and printed six matching replacements the same afternoon.

We fix laptops and blenders for the whole neighbourhood. Snapped clips and battery doors were always dead-ends — now they're a five-minute scan.

The STEP export is the killer feature. I reinforce the gear I scanned, bump the wall thickness, and it survives crashes the original never did.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Physical enclosure and mechanical parts: cases, battery doors, clips, latches, brackets, gears, knobs, vents and housings. We deliberately focus where LiDAR + photogrammetry accuracy is reliable — we do not repair circuit boards or electronics.

No. Revive works with the LiDAR sensor and cameras already built into recent phones and tablets. For tiny parts you can also add reference photos, and we handle the mesh reconstruction and clean-up automatically.

You get watertight, print-ready STL plus editable STEP files. They work with any slicer and any FDM or resin printer — or send them to a print service. Your designs are yours to keep and modify.

iFixit teaches you to disassemble but can't hand you a missing clip. General scanners like Polycam produce raw meshes with no repair intent, and model search engines like Thangs only help if someone already uploaded your exact part. Revive is purpose-built end-to-end: scan the broken part, auto-repair the geometry, match a known-good component, and export something you can print today.

Yes. Free accounts get a monthly allowance of scans and previews so you can try the full flow. Unlimited CAD exports, STEP files and component matching unlock on the Pro plan at $12/month.
